So this is technically close to the in-laws’ home, but who’s counting? This post is actually a bit of I-Spy (since the other half and I need some practice at it).
Fun fact: Lark sparrows are the only members of their genus, Chondestes. They are (luckily) relatively easy to identify because they have distinct stripes on their heads.
